Grateful, In Byron bay Today. Granted the weather was grey and the waves weren’t good or even that clean, in Byron Bay today. There wasn’t much shape to it and the current was hard work too. But, for the first time in a very long time, it was utterly uncrowded. That simple little fact made all that other stuff seem insignificant for a change. Even though the waves were of less than stellar quality there was room to move. Room to set up a few moves without being burnt, hassled or having someone throw a board in your line. It was average at best. Yet nobody really seemed to care, because it was also freeing, and for that most were pretty grateful, In Byron Bay Today.
