Simple, . Sometimes it’s really difficult to know what to share and what to ignore, in Byron Bay today. It’s because there are days when there are several realities going down at the same time in the bay, and not all of it is pretty. So let’s just tell it how it was. On one level there were some sweet little waves, and there were even a few comparatively peaceful moments for those lucky enough to time it right. Yet at the very same time, there were also injuries from overcrowding in the water. The town itself and the beach car parks also remain in a constant state of gridlock as thousands of people continue to stream through the bay. Most folks try to see the positive, most try to make the best of the day. Yet most are also utterly disturbed and exhausted. They are sick and tired that there appears to be no consideration for the local community from those who wish to fill the town with ever increasing numbers of people. They feel that their rights have been left out of the equation. So is that negative? No I suspect not. It’s just a simple truth that for some reason or another, many have chosen to share with us, .
