Byron Bay Town Centre

Town centre is a network hub of Byron Bay’s cafe, fashion and social scene. There’s shopping, dining entertainment and accommodation galore. Not to mention the proximity to Byron’s Main Beach, this has become the scene in which to be seen. You can check in to where you’re staying around town and not need to use your car again until you leave. It’s an easy and flat walk to Main beach, Clarke’s beach and Belongil. Town centre tends to be busy and is pretty popular and with the single crew and younger couples it’s the place to stay if you’re looking to go get involved in Byron’s night scene. Town centre is popular with good reason so make sure you book in advance.

The Surf near Byron Town Centre: To the West lies Belongil, north is The Wreck. To the East is Main beach and Clarke’s. It’s an easy walk to all these spots. When it's small to midsized, these breaks are great fun for the whole family, including but not limited to inexperienced, beginner and absolute novice surfers. For the learner surfers this is a bonus there are good waves for the beginner closest to Byron’s town centre. The local crew here will expect you to exercise courtesy and respect to all when surfing here.
