Rosalie Bryant...,never had an AKA until The Byron Longboard crew started calling me Rosie!

2. Where were you born?

Kempsey Hospital, just west of Crescent Head.

3. How do you prefer to make your living?

Working as a Youth Worker @ Byron YAC.....awsome. Young people , great co- workers & I can go to work still wet from the surf!

4. What do you do for fun when you're not surfing?

Cook up big feasts for my constant house of guests, family & friends.

5. What's your dream car or bike?

1963 EH Holden with a HR front end & no rust!

6. What's your favourite surfing memory?

Learning to body surf with my Dad at Horse Shoe Bay, South West Rocks, when I was in infants school.

7. If you could eat whatever you want, without ever getting tubby what you indulge in?

I don't eat chocolate or cake or ice cream so I guess I have to say what I love: rice, vegies & salad.

8. Who's the funniest looking politician you're ever seen?

Me!

9. Everyone's got a talent for something, what's yours?

Chook whispering.

10. When's the most inappropriate moment that you've burst into laughter?

All the time ........I find it hard to take myself too seriously.

11. What's your most embarrassing moment, that you're willing to share?

Taking a month to decide what I wanted to say here.....

12. What do you listen to in the mornings?

Poppet, my pet Lorikeet, screaming Hello, Hello, Hello.

13. What floats your boat, makes you happy and gives you Joy?

My kids; dolphins in the line up; the magic of true friends.

14. What gets your goat, gets up your nose, makes your blood boil?

Plastic in The Ocean; plastic people; brutality & greed.

15. How do you feel about the world's obsession with celebrity?

Fame is a curse......

16. What do you think about surfing bigotry, i.e. judging people by what they ride?

It is not The vehicle that counts, it is the attitude of the surfer; great or small, they should be judged by their etiquette & respect for others in the surf.

17. If you had the power to change just one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I would be able to nose-ride!

18. If you had the power to change just one thing about the world, what would it be?

I would remove abuse of all kinds.

19. What's the most important thing you want to achieve before you die?

That my daughters are safe, secure, happy & loved.
